About Tommaso Menara
Tommaso Menara is a Postdoctoral Scholar with the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of California, San Diego, CA, USA. He received the Laurea degree (B.Sc. equivalent) in mechatronics engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2013, the Laurea Magistrale degree (M.Sc. equivalent) in robotics and automation engineering from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Riverside, CA, USA, in 2021. His research interests are in the intersection of engineering, neuroscience, and machine learning. Dr. Menara was the recipient of the IEEE CSS 2020 Roberto Tempo Award and the Best Student Paper Award at the 2019 American Control Conference.
